Feal the Fear and Do It Anyway!
2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. Ive realized lately that so many of my choices in life have been made because I was afraid. Fear is a powerful spiritual force but fear can be overcome by an even stronger spiritual force called FAITH! The Bible says God did not give us a spirit of fear, that fear comes from the devil. God in his wisdom did give us a fear instinct, which he uses to protect us. It's like a warning sign that something isn't right, our job is to discern carefu lly the difference between a spirit of fear, a binding fear and the fear that is programmed in us to keep us safe, our fight or flight response really. For so many years I've confused these two types of fear. What I've learned is this, if you face your fears instead of running from them, they will actually reveal a lot about what is really going on and will show you the necessary step to activate your FAITH!
