A Prayer For Repentance

A Prayer For Repentant Hearts:

Today l pray for God to change the hearts, minds and actions of people in our regions, especially in the body of Christ. Lord remind us that we do not battle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness in this dark world and that we must do battle in our prayer closets, not in a boardroom or public forum. Help us to see that sometimes when we think we are standing up for righteousness it is often seen as judgement because its coming out of a mouth that has an unclean heart and what is said is not meant to heal but to harm others. Lord help us to clean up our own hearts before condemning the hearts of a lost generation. Lord you have said this generation will become very dark before you return, but that the gates of hell shall not prevail. Therefore, Lord help us to be healed and delivered from our own demons before pointing the finger at someone elses. Lord, help us to tell other people about Jesus and most of all love them like Jesus, instead of causing them to run from what appears to them as a judgmental religious spirit. Help us Lord to know you, to see you and to dwell continually in your presence. To hear the truth that now is the time to repent, completely lay down what we think are our lives, what we've created, so that we may fully know you, so that when you return you aren't going to send us away saying, "I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!:" Lord may we lay down all of it, espescially what we have hidden in the dark. Breath life into our dry bones, oh Lord and help us to keep our own lamps filled with Holy Spirit oil, so that we are ready and waiting because the bridegroom is coming back soon for His bride. Amen!

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
